The mechanic started to install a 5th wheel set up so there is a hole in the center of the floor in the bed. There is small hole in the carpet on the drivers side covered with floor mats. There is a crack in the driver's door outside rear view mirror and the remote switch does not work properly. There is a noise in the front steering when going over bumps and it is leaking power steering fluid out of the seal at the bottom of the steering shaft..This truck always starts and goes down the road fine, with no shimmies or shakes at speed. No more money will be put in it and it is now for sale as I acquired a one-owner 1500 Silverado. I have been in the car business and the motorcycle business since I was 17 and am now 72, retired and happy and I know what trucks and cars and bikes are selling for. Many have tried to get this truck from me while I have been out and about but it was not for sale. Now it is due to life-changing. Somebody did minor bodywork on the r front fender. For a 20-year-old truck, it still has lots of life left. It has oversized tires on it so the Speedo is a little off and I was going to buy new and go back to the factory oem but selling it as is where is with no guarantees I am keeping the three-ball hitch receiver but will give a receiver with a hitch ball of whatever size you desire.
